Lonely Planet Magazine highlighted our Soviet Tour
15.12.11, Eva-Maria, Comments: 0In the December issue of the Lonely Planet Magazine, there was a special coverage of Tallinn. We were glad to hear that our Soviet Legacy Tour was nominated as the thing to see in Tallinn in the Luxury category.
As Lonely Planet Magazine does not publish its high quality articles in the Internet, we have added a scanned version of that page below. It was an honor to be in the same list with Restaurant Ö, Hotel Schlössle and Gloria's Wine Cellar (which is an excellent place to enjoy a glass of wine or two after our walking tour in the Old Town).

It was mentioned in the Lonely Planet Magazine that this tour is made with Soviet car Lada. We are using it occasionally, but it is only suitable for very small groups (2-3 persons) and during the summer season. One of the reasons why this 1987 year model looks like new is that it has never been used in the winter. Usually this tour is made with other, more ordinary vehicles (minivan or minibus).

Here is the car is parked in the Kadriorg Park, next to the Swan pond.
