Just a 1,5h drive from the capital, provincial town Rakvere is eager to welcome you. Have a short city discovery and a coffee break to capture your energy for a rise up to the Vallimägi hill. Rakvere Stronghold offers you an exceptional visit back to the dusky medieval times. You will have a guided tour in the castle, seeing out the forecourt treasuries: Smithy - beer drinking table and coinage, Carpenter's workshop and shooting with catapults, Stable and sheep, Pottery with underground kiln, Siege tower, Pillory and many more attractions. Learn about various historical weapons and try your skills in medieval martial arts.
The tour displays a torture Chamber, Death Room and even Hell. Then it is the time to return to the nice daylight and admire the great view over the city and beautiful nature from the canon tower.
After the fortress experience we will head to the exceptional Buffalo Farm, nearby Rakvere. The spunky cowgirls warmly welcome you at The Saloon of Wild Buffalo which offers a possibility to eat in the same room with real buffaloes. In the saloon you can roast meat in the guidance of the skilled master. Taste the natural ecological food which is raised and produced in the farm. After lunch you will have a familiarisation tour in the Buffalo Farm.
We will take you back to Tallinn, full of great memories.
